JAVELINA
OVERVIEW
Arizona's Javelina makes a great hunt for all experience levels. This is a hunt we highly recommend for those looking to get there first hunt under their belt especially with archery equipment. These animals inhabit most of the state of Arizona with larger populations in Central and Southern Arizona. The most productive way to hunt them is by spot and stalk with an emphasis on glassing.

Spring Draw, OTC Tags & Hunting Seasons
The spring hunt draw dead line is usually the second Tuesday of October. Javelina Tags must be applied for and drawn through the AZGFD Spring Draw. Contact us if you have questions regarding the Arizona Javelina draw process or what units to apply for. You will purchase a AZGF Hunting License and apply for the AZ Draw online at www.azgfd.gov.
If you have missed the draw we also guide hunts in the metro units which are OTC tags and can be purchased at anytime. Although close to town, there are still several areas to get into some awesome pig country.
Arizona javelina hunting seasons consist of archery-only, youth, handgun-archery-muzzleloader, general rifle, and over-the-counter. These hunts start off with Archery only in the beginning of January, Youth at the end of January, and Ham Hunts during the month of February.

CLIENT REVIEWS
AUSTIN SPENCER
During the OTC season in January I was able to hunt with a very knowledgeable guide, from Hunting Desert Dreams. He knew the country like the back of his hand and he is excellent at finding game. He also can be a teacher and gives good advice when you need it. Success comes with knowledge and patience and the guys here at HDD have it!
AUSTIN DENOYER
Went on a pig hunt with DD and was very professional. We located a herd of 25 pigs 1000 yds away. The guide gave me advice on how how to get within range with my bow. I took his advice and was able to make a clean 30 yard shot. I highly recommend there services!
